When You Seek Support for Anxiety Disorders from Simi Psychological Group
You will learn to tolerate anxiety and go out of your comfort zone
The Anxiety Therapy Process
Here’s what to expect:
WEEK ONE: Intake
WEEK TWO and Beyond: Anxiety Treatment
Each session is designed to help you dive deep into the underlying causes of your anxiety. Together, you and your therapist will identify thinking patterns that may exacerbate your anxiety symptoms. You will also spend time exploring your life story and the beliefs that may contribute to negative coping patterns.
You and your therapist will work together to help you interrupt negative thoughts and to learn new skills to help raise your mood.
Anxiety is part of life, and when you aren’t able to teach yourself to be your own advocate, to self-soothe, to tolerate discomfort and vulnerability, to set boundaries where needed, or to put things into better perspective, that is when it becomes overwhelming. Your therapist will help you to learn these skills to overcome anxiety as you work together.
