Kids Social Skills Group in Simi Valley, Ca

As a parent, you know how painful it can be to see your child trying to connect with other kids, but struggling to do so. You see how easy it may seem for other kids, and you worry your child is starting to notice too. 

You know your child is fun, sweet, and kind, but for many reasons it’s hard for these qualities to shine through in social situations. For many kids, difficulties with controlling impulses, managing big emotions, being flexible when things don’t go their way, or just not understanding social rules can all play a role in making social connections difficult to come by. 

In our kids social skills group, we create a safe and supportive environment for your child to first and foremost recognize their unique positive qualities and strengths. From here, we help our group members learn, discuss, and most importantly practice social skills that can help them feel more confident around peers.
