Lindsay Hall, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in Simi Valley

Hi,

I’m Lindsay Hall, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist # 141991

You find yourself feeling stuck, confused, or just plain overwhelmed. You yearn for someone to hear you but often feel unheard. My goal is to help you create a deeper and more compassionate relationship with yourself so that together we can help you foster change and growth within your relationships. This is a journey where you will not feel alone.

You may find you feel a need to always be perfect: always doing things “right,” being strong enough, getting everything done, or not letting anybody see what you are really going through. Loneliness, pressure, sadness, anxiety, and never feeling good enough are strong emotions that may take up a lot of space in your mind. Sometimes these intense feelings may translate into how you perceive yourself. Struggling with issues such as low self-esteem, perfectionism, or body image concerns affect many people and it does not need to be an isolating experience for you. We can openly connect and explore how perfectionism, self-esteem, and body image are rooted into your lived experiences.

In the room, you will feel seen, respected, heard, and supported. This is a space where you can dive deep into your thoughts, feelings, and emotions while using your strengths to cultivate change. At times, you may feel uncomfortable or vulnerable, and I am honored to be by your side, supporting you in the process.

My Therapy Specialties Include:

In Therapy

In therapy, I strive to create a space of self-discovery. I respect that you are the expert in your life, and I am a guide. Focusing on building meaningful relationships with my clients and creating space and permission for my clients to explore themselves and their experiences, in a deep, meaningful way. Together, we will create a space where you can connect to your experiences as we create deep-rooted change. My goal is to help you navigate uncomfortable feelings through healthy coping and open communication. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. Nothing brings me more joy than helping my clients learn to connect with themselves, create deeper relationships, and foster self-love and compassion. Working with the entire family system is essential to me and a vital approach to promote change and acceptance.
