Motherhood Group in Simi Valley, CA

A space created just for moms — where you can breathe, be honest, and remember how powerful you truly are.

Motherhood Group

Motherhood is one of the most significant roles a person can take on, and one of the least supported.

So much of what moms carry happens invisibly: the logistics, the emotional labor, the relational dynamics with a partner or co-parent, the guilt, the overstimulation. It doesn’t get talked about enough, and when it does, it’s often minimized.

This group exists to change that. It’s a place where you can say the things that feel too heavy to say anywhere else and be met with understanding from other women who truly get it.

Being validated by another mom who has sat in the same overwhelm, felt the same guilt, and carried the same invisible weight offers something hard to replicate anywhere else. That recognition — you’re not imagining this, it really is a lot — can shift something deep within you.

It can remind you that what you’re experiencing is real, and that you’re not alone in it.

Whether you’re a working mom navigating the judgment that comes with that choice or a stay-at-home mom facing the equally real pressures of that role, motherhood can feel isolating in ways that are hard to explain to someone who hasn’t lived it.

You may find yourself saying things like:

  • E"I'm burnt out and exhausted, but I feel guilty for feeling this way."
  • E"My partner isn't helping the way I need, and I don't know how to bring it up."
  • E"I don't feel like myself anymore."
  • E"Did I do enough today?"

If any of this sounds familiar, this group was created for you.

What to Expect in the
Motherhood Group

This group is designed to create a community, not just a session. Each week, members come together in a safe, non-judgmental space to process what’s coming up, connect with one another, and build tools they can actually use in the middle of real life.

What you can expect:

  • EA community of women who listen and understand — this group runs on shared experience and genuine connection
  • EMindfulness practices rooted in real life — exploring what mindfulness can actually look like in the middle of dysregulation, overstimulation, and motherhood
  • ESpace to process emotions as they come up — no topic is off the table; you'll be met with empathy, not judgment
  • ETools to support your daily life and relationships — practical, grounded skills to help you communicate your needs, manage the mental load, and reconnect with yourself

Who This Group Is For

The Motherhood Group is open to moms with children of any age. You don’t need to be in crisis to join; you just need to be a mom who’s carrying more than she should have to carry alone.

This group may be a good fit if you:

    • EFeel overwhelmed by the mental load of parenting and don't know how to put it down
    • EStruggle with mom guilt, even when you're doing your best
    • EFeel disconnected from yourself or your sense of identity outside of being a mom
    • EWant to improve communication with your partner or co-parent, but aren't sure how
    • EAre navigating the stigma that comes with being a working mom or a stay-at-home mom
    • ESimply want a space where you can be honest and be heard

Group therapy uses the power of connection and shared experience to create a kind of healing that individual work can’t always reach. For moms especially, being seen and validated by other women in the same role can be transformative.
