Helping Kids Build Confidence, Friendships, and Lasting Social Skills
Every parent wants to see their child feel included, confident, and connected.
It can be heartbreaking to watch your child want friendships but struggle to make or keep them. You may notice that social situations seem to come naturally for other children, while your child feels left out, misunderstood, or unsure of how to connect. Over time, these experiences can begin to affect their confidence and self-esteem.
The good news is that social skills can be learned. And it all starts with helping the child feel more confident about who they already are.
Many children have difficulty making friends not because they lack kindness or personality, but because they lack confidence and may need extra support with skills such as managing big emotions, controlling impulses, reading social cues, being flexible, or understanding how to navigate peer interactions.
Our Social Skills Group provides a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment where children can develop these skills alongside peers who are working toward similar goals. Through interactive games, role-playing, group activities, and guided discussions, children have the opportunity to learn new skills and practice using them in real-life social situations.
Our goal is to help every child recognize their unique strengths, build confidence in who they are, and leave feeling more prepared to create meaningful friendships.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping children, teens, and families build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the emotional and social skills they need to thrive. Interested in Joining?
Families interested in the group begin with a free group screening.
During this meeting, you’ll meet with the group facilitator, Peyton Enneking, learn more about the group, discuss your child’s strengths and areas for growth, and share your goals. Your child will also join for part of the appointment so we can begin getting to know them as well.
At the end of the screening, we’ll help determine whether this group is the best fit for your child and answer any questions you may have.
