I have found nothing in this world more fulfilling than helping children, teens, and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma. When working with children and teens I make sure to include you, the parents, in the process. I want to ensure you have the tools and support to guide you through and grow. In Therapy

In therapy, I utilize interventions and theoretical orientations according to my clients’ needs. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and compassion is essential to helping clients through their journey. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, relational and family systems in the work that I do. However, most importantly, I connect with you and your story. In therapy, I am genuine, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I truly believe that you are capable of succeeding in any circumstances. In a trusting, loving therapeutic relationship, let’s create sustainable, meaningful change together.

During our work together, you will find me a real person and partner. In my sessions, you will be in charge of the course and I will guide you through. I am authentic and empathetic, and my compassion is unconditional. Your sense of safety and trust will be my greatest goal as a therapist.

Education and Background

I received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California. I also possess a dual Master’s degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge. My undergraduate education took place in University of California, Los Angeles, where I majored in Asian Studies. Prior to joining Simi Psychological Group, I worked in a community mental health clinic as an MFT trainee and associate, where I helped people of all age ranges with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and personality traits. I also have a year of experience as a behavioral therapist working with children with autism.
