Education and Background
I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges, including trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I have led Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) groups for children and teens to help them build emotional regulation and coping skills. My work at Strength United’s Trauma Recovery Center focused on supporting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence through trauma-informed care.
Additionally, in the Family Preservation Program, I provided in-home counseling and parenting education, working closely with families affected by addiction, child welfare involvement, and life stressors. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong passion for helping individuals and families heal, grow, and find resilience in the face of challenges.
