Hi,

I’m Paige Johnston

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist 113567

You are feeling burnt out on dealing with all the struggles, unknowns and frustrations in life. You are deeply wanting a change but don’t know where to start. Taking the first steps to making positive changes for you and your family can be overwhelming. You probably have tried many things and feel like nothing is truly sticking. You likely want to know where to begin.

Together we can not only help you get on track but really push through those doubts that change is possible.
Finding someone that you feel like you can trust and truly understands your experiences is one of the most important elements of the therapeutic journey. I would love to take the time to hear your story and I am honored to be given an opportunity to be a part of your journey.

I am deeply passionate about my work and helping to empower you, your child, and your family to believe in yourselves to work through the unknowns of life and develop the skills that will help you thrive. It is my goal to help you feel safe and comfortable while we embark on this journey as a team to develop a deeper understanding of what you really want your lives to look like.

My Therapy Specialties Include:

In Therapy

My ultimate goal is to create a safe space that you can call your own. It is my priority to ensure that you feel safe, secure, and empowered as you get to know yourself better as we address the areas of your life that have become challenging for you. In the room, I want to ensure you have a safe space that is yours while we help you dig into the areas in your life that need more care and attention. In the room, you are my sole focus, and I truly enjoy focusing on healing and growing you and your family’s lives.

In working with children, teens, and families I make sure to work through any resistance, and get at the core of the struggles you are experiencing. I bring my honest and authentic self to the space and create an environment that includes you and your family to do the same. We work together to envision the path you have for your family and start taking the steps to get there, together.

As I understand that there is no one size fits all when it comes to therapy, I incorporate many different modalities into my work to best meet your needs. I work strongly with a family systems model and do my best to include all parties involved to participate in the growing process. I use both a mindfulness and emotion focused modality to increase the focus of your emotional experience as we work together to identify and practice stronger coping skills. I am confident in my ability to meet you where you are at and work with my clients at a pace that feels right to them.
