I deeply appreciate and respect the challenge it can be to be vulnerable. I do not take for granted the opportunity to be a part of your journey through the struggles and triumphs. We are in this together, and I value your courage to seek support.
As someone who understands how scary it can be to take the first steps toward change, I make sure to create a safe, consistent, and non-judgmental space for you. I will help guide you through the process of becoming empowered and confident in yourself. I utilize a trauma informed approach where we will prioritize your individual needs while ensuring you have the support system in place that you need. You have the capacity to overcome hardships by helping build self-awareness and fine-tuning your values and aligned goals.
In working with children and teens, I believe it is essential to make sure parents are feeling supported and that they have the resources they need to help their child, themselves, and their family. It is a huge passion to help children, teens and families build their inner strength and create the real change they are wanting.
All children, teens, adults, couples, and families are unique; therefore, I do not subscribe to a one-size-fits-all approach in therapeutic work. I enjoy utilizing a variety of techniques, incorporating mindfulness skills, expressive arts, spirituality, laughter, and other elements that may help engage creativity. I want to get to know who you are as an individual and will tailor my approach to best suit your needs, your strengths, and your comfort. Whether your challenges present as anxiety, feelings of disconnection, depression, or otherwise, it is my true passion and privilege to be a helping part of your healing journey in a way that is grounded, knowledgeable, and authentic.
